Donations and Volunteering

  • Sacramento Medical Reserve Corps: Volunteer medical and support members strengthening public health, emergency response, and community resiliency. Volunteers provide first aid for emergency response and large public events, staff Shelters for people displaced by flood, fire or extreme weather, provide clean water for communities in need, staff flu clinics, and promote emergency preparedness. 
  • HandsOn Sacramento: If you are healthy and able to support critical community needs through volunteering and donating to agencies that are directly assisting those impacted by COVID-19, consider volunteering with HandsOn Sacramento.   • Blood Donation: Right now, the American Red Cross has an ongoing critical need for blood product donations. To learn more about donating blood products, visit the American Red Cross’ website.
  • California Volunteers: Californians can safely help their community during these difficult times. To learn how you can help, visit the California Volunteer’s website. ​
  • Medical Supplies Donation Site: The physical donation center has closed. While the physical center is closed, if you still want to donate, you can contact the EOC Logistics desk at (916) 876-3044 or via email: EOCLogistics@SacOES.org. Logistics will coordinate a drop off location, date and time.
